Studio Policies

 
Our policies have been established to help us run our studio in an efficient and consistent manner.  Please familiarize yourself with these policies.
 

Bookings

 All regular sessions require a non-refundable session retainer to book and reserve your date. For specials or mini sessions, the entire amount, which is non-refundable, is required to book and reserve your date.

 

Sessions

Please be on time for your session.  It is not uncommon for us to have other appointments before or after yours.  If possible, please try to arrive ten minutes before your scheduled time. In the event that you are late, we will make the best of the time we have left during your scheduled time.

 

Payments

We accept various forms of payment including cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and personal checks. Payment plans are also available. All checks must clear and all payments made before any products will be released.

This contract shall not become effective until it is signed and the initial amount due has been paid. As We Were Photography shall reserve the date and time agreed upon, and not make any other reservations or accept any other clients for said date and time. For this reason, in the event that a client cancels, all monies paid shall be retained by As We Were Photography in order to offset its loss of business.

 

Rescheduling

In the event it is necessary for you to cancel your session, we require a 48-hour notice. You may reschedule your session if proper notice has been given and paid funds will be credited towards your future session. In the event As We Were Photography must cancel due to illness, fire, casualty, an act of God, or other cause beyond their control, client session will be rescheduled and paid funds will be credited towards their future session. 

 

Ordering

In order for you to view your images, you will need to schedule a preview appointment. This is your opportunity to view your images and place your order. For this reason, it’s important to bring all people who will be helping you make this decision.  We will guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have.  All of your order decisions should be made during this time.  A 24-hour advance notice is required to cancel or reschedule a preview session. Your image files will be stored in our system for 90 days.
