In March of 2017, Jennifer Hardin of Portraits by Jen, a spunky redhead and David Whatley of The Covenant Studio, a sweet traditionalist, combined forces. An odd pairing for sure, but just like oil and vinegar, together we're great! He's the vinegar, in case you were wondering.
On April 1, 2017, As We Were Photography was created. With David's 44 years of photography and business experience and Jennifer's creative mind and photography skills, As We Were Photography delivers more than just beautiful photos, we also deliver an amazing experience.

My name is Jennifer but everyone calls me Jen. I take great joy in creating beautiful portraits filled with emotions and heartfelt connections. My quirky personality helps clients feel at ease during their session. My fun and relaxed approach allow me to bring out the best in even the most camera shy individuals. My goal is to capture the beauty in your life, providing you with printed memories that you'll be proud to hand down for generations.
